My Story

I am constantly inspired by the nuanced beauty and humanity of storytelling.
My own story of involvement in the arts started at the age of six with a diary I called “Kitty Journal” and a one line part in the musical, Annie. I was a very shy child. When I did speak, my teachers used to have to constantly ask me to speak louder. But when I discovered writing and acting, I found my voice. Writing has let me process my life and acting has let me experience more than one.
Discovering my own voice through art led me to fall in love with the process and expression of storytelling in general, and I’ve been striving to make it into a career ever since. I began with a bachelor’s in literature from UC Santa Cruz. In 2025, I graduated Portland State University with a master’s in book publishing and an emphasis in audiobooks. The master’s program provided hands on experience with a student run trade press, Ooligan Press, for which I was the Audiobook Department Manager. This role gave me project management practice, directing experience, and intimate knowledge of the audiobook production process. During that time, I co-edited and co-produced two audiobooks, Thorn City and Faultland.
After that, I was hooked on audio storytelling. Since then, I’ve been working as a freelance audio editor, volunteering for Xray.fm, and creating my own podcast. I’ve also built my own in home recording booth to start narrating audiobooks. I bring to my narration over ten years of acting experience in stage productions.
